Suggestion to switch to rp_ineu_pass_v1b
As you all know, we have a cliche' map on DZRP called City 18. I have an issue with this map that makes me not being able to play DZRP and enjoy it. What is this reason? Well lets do a pros and cons list (Pros and cons in no particular order)
City 18
Pros:
Fits ok with the gamemode theme
Lots of buildings for resistance to hide and DZ to raid
Has room for a limited amount of cars
Map is a good size map for our playerbase
Can fit events that would attract players, even though those events are limited due to it's open space, and it's open space is basically 0.
Cons:
Map is very VERY cliche' with Darkrp based gamemodes, and it not original at all to the DarkRP gamemode.
Map is very depressing, uninviting and clusterphobic to the new and old player.
Map ruins creativity with the gamemode due to it's cliche' representation.
Does NOT have room for helicopters or jets, which renders a very nice job useless.
Has room for cars, but if you had a huge amount of cars, CDM and road congestion can accur, which can ultimately cause lag and upset.
Ineu Pass
Pros:
Map is very nice, roomy, and still does fit our current playerbase as well as a bigger and smaller one.
Map can fit any amount of Cars that doesn't lag the server (which are limited to the roads), Helicopters, and Jets if you're a good enough pilot
Fits very well with the out-of-urban theme with the DZ apocalypse
VERY inviting, not clustorphobic or depressing due to it's open space and natural beauty.
Huge amount of space for resistance to roam and be free with an abandoned town and lots of camps with fires for resistance use.
There is a large compound with lookouts and guard posts with a big network of tunnels that the DZ could use comfortable, and there is space for APC's to park and Helicopters to land.
Can fit a whole range of events that I even could host without thinking to hard. It has a reasonable amount of buildings and a lot of open space to host these, size could be an issue depending on the event.
Cons:
Is very big, so without vehicular transport could take along time to walk around, the solution to this is to make cars very cheap and the abillity to buy one on the move.
FPS and server lag may occur if there is to many props or entities. Due to it's size.
Only about 30% of the map has a road.
Is a fairly big sizeable map to download at 40MB, so this including the other content could take a while to download.
As you can see City 18 has it's pros, but is ultimately not as suitable as Ineu in my eyes, and the list states it also.

Ineu mostly contains performance and size problems, performance problems are easily fixed with some tweaking.
I seriously seriously beg the Dev team to switch the map until further notice. When I complained in TS3 it only seemed that about a few people were in favour of City 18, I do not believe that is a community decision.
